"Villa Fedra is even more beautiful in person, which may seem impossible considering the lovely photos that accompany the website. The setting is relaxing and very picturesque. The owners were very responsive to all of my inquiries and the on-site property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The villa was very clean and well equipped and a grocery store is close by. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return myself. Lindos is a charming city with quite a few very good restaurants. "Rhodes is a jewel of an island and one that offers scenic beauty, ancient historic sites and the natural tranquility of the Mediterranean climate. The Lindos Villa Fedra is tastefully furnished with comfortable large bedrooms which fit our needs perfectly. The view from the poolside and from the upstairs balconies is absolutely magnificent, especially with a full moon. The property is beautifully landscaped with an unobstructed view of the natural bay below. The modern kitchen offers all conveniences for dining in or enjoying wine and cheese by the pool.

This area of Rhodes was quiet in early spring but only a few minutes from the historic village of Lindos.  A modern grocery is nearby and provided everything needed.

The owners were very accommodating to our requests and the property manager was very responsive.  Both offered tips of places to visit on the island and superb directions in finding our way around. 

The nearby beach is within walking distance and was very quiet during our pre-season stay in April 2010. We recommend Villa Fedra highly for its comfort, privacy and beauty. A very romantic setting for a perfect getaway!  We loved your villa - and we're jealous that you are able to return often! We look forward to a return visit. Thanks, Janet".

"Hi Jo and Helen, we had an absolutely fabulous time in your villa. You were right that it is even better than what you can see on your website, which surprised me as I think your website is very good.  The location, villa and the views were all great.  The weather was hot while we were there so we made good use of the pool.  The icing on the cake was you management team, who we found to be very pleasant and helpful and gave us some great recommendations of things to see and do while we were there.  We found that there was lots to see and do on Rhodes and our week went by very quickly.  Kind regards, Kevin'

"Hi Jo and Helen, we had a really lovely time at the villa, couldn't have asked for more.  Tim next door couldn't have been more helpful, not only providing a most convenient door-to-door service, but also on the many questions that we had and on the odd problem that we encountered. 

We envy you the location of the villa which was made all the more impressive with the storm on Friday which provided one of the most spectacular lightning displays for many hours into the night. 

From a practical point of view,the only items we found ourselves needing was a teapot and a cheese grater - and if this is all we have to 'moan' about, it goes to show how perfect everything else was!

We loved the relatively peaceful bay, particularly when compared to Lindos itself and if we had the chance we would certainly want to return for longer - who knows!

"Hi Jo and Helen -  Our time at your villa was fabulous!  It over exceeded our expectations of cleanliness, decor, location and comfort. 

We especially loved the wonderful views.  The swimming pool was lovely and large enough for a proper swim and the sunbeds meant we spent a lot of time by the pool.  We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every day on the island. 

The villa is situated in a quiet location, the supermarket is just a 5 minute walk and your housekeepers are very helpful and friendly.  I would certainly recommend the villa to anyone and recommend car hire.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a really wonderful time in Lindos.  Your home is beautiful and very well located, we could not have asked for a better holiday and I have already recommended your villa to many of my friends.

The weather was so perfect that most of our days were spent outdoors, from swimming in the pool to preparing our meals on the barbecue.

Your property managers were very nice to us, keeping the grounds and home clean for us to enjoy.  We visited many beaches in the area, like Golden Beach and Tsambika, but the beach closest to our home, Vliha, was quite beautiful.  It's a pebbled beach, but becomes sandier on the far right side of the bay. 

Lindos is a very nice village, we would go there often for dinner or shopping.  Our family had a wonderful vacation and would not hesitate to return.

"Hi Jo & Helen, the wedding all went to plan and we had a fantastic day!

I have to say that as you said at the start Lindos is a truly beautiful place and we instantly fell in love with it!  The villa is amazing with incredible views and a standard that you would be lucky to get in some 4/5 star hotels.  Needless to say, we had an absolute ball and having the private pool was a blessing as there was a couple of days where we had family and friends visiting prior to the wedding and it was an immediate hit with everyone who saw it! 

Also the couple who manage the property were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and would not hesitate in recommending your villa to anyone who should ask .

"Hi Jo & Helen, just now back home from our trip to Greece.  Loved your villa and yes, we were swimming although just a tad on the cool side!  Lindos is a great spot...we loved the small tavernas and bars...my favourite was the Captain's House Bar!

You have some great neighbours and we spoke with them quite a lot which was really nice. We immensely enjoyed investigating Rhodes old town, overall a great spot.

We are envious you have such a great place and destination a mere 3 hours away - Sydney return took 27 hours door to door! - might have to consider dropping out and buying a place in Rhodes! All the best for a great summer - Greg"

"We absolutely loved the villa and had a fantastic week.  I can really see why you bought it, the views are stunning!  We really enjoyed sitting watching the sun setting and laying by the pool all day!

With the location and quality of accommoation I can't see you having any free weeks next year, indeed if we end up with another summer next year like we've had this year I'll be contacting you for availability for some late sun again.

Meant to also say thanks for the welcome pack - arriving so late meant that we were hungry (and needing a glass of wine) so it was a fantastic surprise to find food and a cold bottle of wine waiting for us - its a really nice touch. We also really appreciated you allowing us to stay on, on the Saturday, it felt like we got an extra day, we even went for dinner at Rula's in Lardos before heading to the airport.

All in all we really enjoyed our time at Villa Fedra and would recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday in Rhodes.  Matthew"

"Stepping into the villa I can only describe as 'a little piece of heaven'!  The villa is spacious and beautifully decorated, it far exceeded our expectations.  Thank you for the food hamper, it was fantastic, especially the bottle of wine, what a lovely welcome!  The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the furniture is lovely. On waking the following morning and opening the shutters...the views were to die for... a perfect place for a relaxing holiday with all you want close to hand.  We loved the pool and spent many hours sunbathing in the garden! Being so close to Lindos was great, there were so many restaurants we were spoilt for choice! Thank you for your time making arrangements for our transport to and from the airport, a very nice touch. 

You have a beautiful holiday villa in a wonderful position, I would like to regard it as my 'retreat' whenever I want to get away, and will be recommending it to friends as it really is a very special place. Thank you, Andrea"

"Hi Jo and Helen, just got back last night! Wonderful holiday, perfect weather and lovely villa. The pool was superb and the views just out of this world! The villa is in a wondeful position, lovely balconies, so much nicer being next door to Lindos and visiting rather than in the town itself.

We lined up all the sun-beds on the grass opposite the glass and never got bored looking at the bay.

Your neighbours were lovely and we used all the restaurants you recommended plus a couple of theirs. We used either a bus or taxi in the evening to go to Lindos, no problem. Now back to reality! Many thanks, Mandy."

"Well where do I begin, I will start by thanking you so much for letting us be the first people to experience your amazing villa, we had an unbelievable time, the first 2 week holiday where I felt I could have stayed for another 2 weeks, or 3 or 4...

The villa is amazing, we arrived pretty late at night so after transporting the kids in to bed (thanks for the travel cot), we pretty much followed them. I awoke the next morning and raised the electric shutters in the bedroom, I thought I was dreaming, I had gone to heaven, WOW, what a view, breathtaking. From the minute we got there the villa felt like home, DVD's, books, kids cutlery, you pretty much thought of everything.

We alternated between going out for dinner and staying in with the kids this seemed to make sense, we would put them to bed sit outside have a drink, play cards (we left them for the other guests), just chill out and relax, maybe watch a DVD. We even managed a BBQ, the meat from the local butchers was amazing, never tasted meat like it, a recommendation from your English neighbours - what wonderful people, they could not have made us feel any more welcome, shame they don't live next door to us in England.

Thank you so much for sharing your villa with us, it was a privilege, congratulations to you both for investing in such a great property. We are hoping to come back out next year with family so will be in touch."
